Campus Health Services at Northern Arizona University serves as an integrated care clinic for the NAU community, providing comprehensive primary medical care, lab services, immunizations, same-day appointments for urgent concerns, psychiatric services, behavioral health, physical therapy, and counseling services. Its dedicated staff includes physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a physical therapist, a dietician, and health education professionals, all working to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare to students, faculty, and staff.
The Administrative Services Assistant, Senior for Patient Services at Campus Health Services, assists with managing front-office operations and provides administrative support to the Operations Manager. The position requires a variety of advanced office/administrative skills related to the work unit, as well as the ability to analyze and respond to administrative matters within established limits to ensure the department’s needs are met and that CHS policies and procedures are followed. This position is expected to communicate regularly with the Operations Manager and intermediate full-time staff with assigned tasks. Mainly works indoors. On-site potential exposure to contagious illness and bloodborne pathogens in daily activities. Physical demands include: sitting, standing, bending, and lifting a minimum of 20 lbs on occasion.

Salary range begins at $38,628.00. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.
Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the following: a criminal background investigation, an employment history verification and a degree verification (in some cases) prior to employment. You may also be required to complete a fingerprint background check. Each year Northern Arizona University releases an Annual Security Report. The report is a result of a federal law known as the Clery Act. The report includes Clery reportable crime statistics for the three most recent completed calendar years and discloses procedures, practices and programs NAU uses to keep students and employees safe including how to report crimes or other emergencies occurring on campus. In addition, the Fire Safety Report is combined with the Annual Security Report for the NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus as this campus has on-campus student housing. This report discloses fire safety policies and procedures related to on-campus student housing and statistics for fires that occurred in those facilities.
